More than 40 hardy Lossiemouth residents braved a fiery charity challenge by hot-footing it across a trail of burning embers last night.
Among the group was Heldon and Laich councillor, Ryan Edwards, who is more used to heated debates than the likes of the “fire walk” fundraiser.
Mr Edwards helped arrange the event, which took place near the Beach Bar.
He hopes it will raise thousands for the Scottish Cot Death Trust charity.
The councillor and his wife have supported the cause after receiving its help when their firstborn son died aged seven weeks.
