Firefighters have again been called to battle a gorse blaze at a Moray village.
Crews are dousing a patch of flaming undergrowth roughly 100ft by 65ft at Hopeman, having been called to the coastal spot at 10.10am.
A spokesman for the fire service said: “Two appliances from Lossiemouth and one from Elgin are working at the gorse in the Covesea area using a jet hose.”
The fire has taken hold on land to the east of the village, towards Covesea.
Earlier this month, crews spent days battling a gorse fire at Clarsach Quarry, near Hopeman.
