More than a dozen vehicles have been vandalised in a Moray town – causing about £14,000 worth of damage.
The spree of damage in Keith town centre was carried out between Thursday and Friday last week.
Yesterday, police revealed a 24-year-old man has been charged in connection the incidents, which involved a total of 14 vehicles.
Sgt Graeme Forbes said: “Vandalism is a completely mindless act and the damage caused to these vehicles has affected a number of people.
“It will be both costly and inconvenient for them to repair. I would like to thank the public for their assistance while inquiries were carried out.”
The man is expected to appear at Elgin Sheriff Court at a later date.
