Animal lovers have been scouring Elgin and its surrounding area for a newly-rehomed dog who has gone missing. Angie Fraser travelled with her mother from Peterhead to Caithness on Friday to collect a “lovely little old lady” black and brown Jack Russell cross. But after stopping in Elgin for a quick walk, a loud noise spooked the pup and caused her to run away. Groups have carried out extensive searches of the area for the dog, who may answer to the name Morag, with little success so far. Mrs Fraser’s appeal for information online has been shared more than 4,000 times so far. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=2432597130143079&set=a.1465160576886744&type=3
