Police have made an appeal for witnesses following a spate of housebreakings in Buckie.
A number of homes in the McKenzie Road, West Church Street and South Pringle Street areas of the town were targeted in the run-up to Christmas.
The incidents happened between 2pm on December 16 and 9am on December 21, with items valued at a high three-figure sum stolen from the properties.
Police are urging anyone who might have information to come forward.
A spokeswoman said “Police Scotland is appealing for information following a spate of thefts by housebreaking to a number of residential properties in the McKenzie Road, West Church Street and South Pringle Street areas of Buckie.
“As a result of these thefts, domestic items, food and drinks valued at a high three figure sum were stolen.”
