Fundraisers in Moray have raised thousands of pounds for charity by jumping over and sliding across a series of inflatable obstacles.
A total of 18 teams entered the weekend’s annual It’s a Knockout tournament in Buckie.
Spectators lined the series of colourful event courses set up in Linzee Gordon Park in order to cheer on their friends and family who were competing across the foamy challenge.
Last night, organisers revealed the popular event had raised more than £3,000 for nominated charity Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland (CHSS).
The cause has pledged that money raised from the event would go towards people they support in Moray.
Organiser Denise Thomson said “Everybody really threw themselves into it. It really makes for a fun afternoon.
“Everything went alright considering the weather forecast that we had. We had to take a couple of the tents down the day before but everything went fine.
“We chose CHSS because they had said that the money raised would stay in the area – which I think makes a difference to people.”
Staff from Buckie nightclub Rehab were crowned as the winners of Saturday’s event after competing across the series of head-to-head challenges.
Meanwhile, a team from the town’s Pits pub, christened the Pits Party Animals, took part to support CHSS after employees stepped in to save a customer’s life last year.
Bar manager Lynda Murray was motivated to lead the team after seeing first-hand the effects of a cardiac arrest.
She said: “After what happened in the pub, I think the whole team got such a shock that we just want to do what we can to help.
“Getting the defibrillator for the pub was our first step but now we want to support people living with heart conditions and all those who survive their cardiac arrests.”
Mrs Thomson confirmed the It’s a Knockout event would return next year and explained that competitors would be able to choose which charity to donate their cash raised to.
