Theatrical performers are preparing to celebrate six decades of pantomimes at a Moray venue with the boy who never grew up.
Buckie Community Theatre has been staging productions in the local Fishermen’s Hall for generations.
Tonight the group will celebrate the 60th anniversary of its inaugural show when a cast of 40 performers take to the stage for Peter Pan.
And after delivering spectacular special effects featuring flying carpets and giant elephants in previous years, organisers are promising more to mark the occasion.
Artistic director Kevin Oakes said: “We always try to put on a magical show we can all be proud of with amazing special effects and some surprises mixed in.
“It’s a truly breathtaking show this year and the talent and the work put in has been amazing.”
Peter Pan will be performed from tonight until Saturday. Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. Saturday’s matinee has sold out.
