Alleged fraudster Pauline Flett.

A reward is being offered to help catch an alleged fraudster from the north-east who has evaded police for nine years.

The charity Crimestoppers is offering a £2000 reward for information which leads to the arrest and conviction of Buckie-born Pauline Flett.

Flett is accused of defrauding people of cash and goods in Edinburgh, Glasgow, around the central belt and in the north of Scotland between October 2006 and March 2015.

It is thought the fraudster has avoided detection by altering her appearance and travelling around Scotland. She has resided in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Grampian.

She is described as around 5ft 6 with a medium build, blonde hair and a bat tattoo on her left arm. She has also been known to use the alias Pauline Campbell.

Angela Parker, national manager for Crimestoppers Scotland, said: “Flett is believed to be involved in a number of crimes that have seen innocent victims scammed out of large sums of money.

“There are people out there who know where she is and I would urge you to do the right thing and contact Crimestoppers anonymously.

“We dont take personal details, we cant trace calls or information given online. No-one will ever know you contacted us. We dont want to know who you are, just what you know.”

Ms Flett is believed to have evaded police by changing her appearance and travelling around Scotland, living in Edinburgh, Glasgow and the Grampian area.

She is around 5ft 6in tall, with a medium build, blonde hair and a bat tattoo on her left shoulder. She has been known to use the alias “Pauline Campbell”.
