A 23-year-old man has been charged following reports of an alleged stabbing in Elgin.
The incident occurred on Lesmurdie Road, Elgin at around 11.20pm on Tuesday September 13, 2016.
He is expected to appear at Elgin Sheriff Court tomorrow.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing an individual lying in the street following the disturbance.
Police have confirmed that a 26-year-old man was taken to Dr Grays Hospital in Elgin with serious but not life threatening or life changing injuries. He remains in a stable condition in hospital at this time.
Inquiries are continuing into the incident.
