A group of Moray schoolchildren will perform at a popular festive charity event next month.
Let It Snow will return to Elgin, and organisers yesterday confirmed pupils from Greenwards, Kinloss, Seafield, Mortlach and Burghead primary will take to the stage as part of the line-up.
They will join guest soloists Emilie Boyd, Rachel Lightbody, Jasmine Day and Fiona Milne at the event at St Giles Church.
The youngsters will be accompanied by a big band, featuring some of the most exciting young jazz players in the country, including trumpet player Joshua Elcock.
The show is now in its fifth year after originally being created to help raise funds for Lucy Lintott, the youngest-ever person in Scotland to be diagnosed with motor neurone disease.
Producer Ryan Mackenzie said: “Involving more of the community, especially schools, is something that we have wanted to do from the start and having five primary schools involved this year is just brilliant.
“I am also proud to have such amazing soloists joining us too. At the end of the day, the show is for a great cause and obviously, raising money is key but it’s also just lovely to be bringing so many Moray residents together.”
