A man has been airlifted to hospital with potentially serious injuries after an accident on a rural farm.
Ambulance crews were called out to reports of an injured elderly male on a farm near the small village of Crovie on the Aberdeenshire coast around mid-day.
Air ambulance was later requested and rushed the man to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary at around 1:45pm.
It is understood he may have fallen from a height while carrying out work at the farm.
Meanwhile a man was injured in a separate incident at a north-east building site.
A worker was using a telehandler on the Morrison’s Construction site at Portstown, near Inverurie, when the vehicle tipped over, trapping him inside.
Two appliances, with nine firefighters on board, were called to the scene and freed him from the cab.
The nature of his injuries are not known at this stage.
