A north-east man has been ordered to pay a fine after breaking the wall of a police station.
Ross Harper admitted to using his elbow to damage some plasterboard at a custody centre in Kittybrewster in October.
He was being interviewed by officers in relation to another matter at the time.
The 31-year-old mechanic, whose address was given in court papers as Queens Crescent, Banff, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday.
Fiscal depute Katy Begg said the estimated cost of the repair was £100.
Harper was ordered to pay a £120 fine as well as £100 in compensation to Police Scotland.
