The Maud Railway Museum will be open to the public on Saturday and Sunday.
Located in the old railway station at Maud Junction, members of the public can visit between 10.30am and 4pm on both days.
The free exhibition this year will feature new areas such as the former facilities of the locomotive water tower.
New signs have been prepared to form a short heritage trail for visitors and the fully restored railway carriage will also be open.
The group is currently hoping to expand the museum and take over a second unit at the old station to allow for the expansion of facilities.
