Police have launched a fresh appeal for information about a missing teenager who was last seen in the New Pitsligo area.

Rebecca Clark, 15, was last see in the north-east village on Friday.

Investigating officers are now urging Rebecca to contact her family or the police as a matter of urgency.

Last night, a Police Scotland spokesman, said: “Police Scotland are making a further appeal to the public as they remain anxious to trace 15-year-old Rebecca Clark who has been missing from New Pitsligo, Aberdeenshire since Friday 6 February 2015.

“Rebecca is described as 5’4”, slim build with long fair hair normally tied up at the back. She was last seen wearing tracksuit bottoms, joggers and a track suit top.

“Police Scotland are also appealing for Rebecca to contact family members or any Police Office to confirm that she is safe and well.

“If members of the public know of Rebecca’s whereabouts or have any information regarding her disappearance can they please contact Police Scotland.”

It is understood Rebecca, who is known as Becca, may originally be from the Ellon area.
