The fire, at a property on Ravenscraig Road, broke out just before 3pm. One crew is currently in attendance, and are using a hose reel jet and breathing apparatus to tackle the flames. Two more fire crews are also making their way to the scene, along with paramedics. A spokeswoman for the fire service said: “There’s a house fire on Ravenscraig Road. “We’ve got one crew in attendance and two more on route. There’s a fire within the building and we’ve got one jet and two breathing apparatus in use.” It is not yet clear how serious the fire is. More to follow.
