Something special is happening in Peterhead – and you could be part of it.
The Rediscover Peterhead project was first mooted 12 months ago with the aim of improving the town for shoppers and businesses alike by creating new jobs and boosting footfall.

Following a questionnaire which polled more than 200 businesses across the town, the group met last week for the first time to begin laying the groundwork for Peterhead’s future.
At the meeting, it was revealed the scheme would rely on businesses agreeing to pay a levy – as little as 82p per day – with a view to investing £1million in the town for improvements during the next five years.
John Pascoe, vice-chairman of Rediscover Peterhead BID, said the group has created this video to show people what makes the north-east town great – and what could be in store for its future.
He said: “We wanted to present visually a snapshot of what Peterhead currently has to offer and hint at the potential that we have for the future assisting the town centre to thrive through a successful BID status.
“We commissioned a young local business to produce the video to play at our recent Next Steps event.”
