A unique opportunity to own a part of Christmas has gone on the market near Peterhead.
A 28-acre tree farm is looking for a new owner who wants to take on the festive project at Cruden Bay.
The South Teuchan farm, which is being sold through Aberdeen estate agents Galbraith, is being billed as a “rare” opportunity for first time buyers and already established Christmas-tree firms alike and could be available for just £150,000.
The farm already has 14,000 fir trees planted – with around 2,000 available for harvest this Christmas.
A spokeswoman said: “South Techan provides an ideal opportunity for owner occupiers or investors alike to purchase a Christmas tree farm with a planted crop and an established mixed species woodland.
“Planting began in 2002 with the intended long-term aim to achieve a productive forest with a mixture of broad-leaved species with differing growth rates.”
The woodland is also subject to the Farm Woodland Premium Scheme, which awards grants for the planting of broad-leaved trees.
As part of the scheme, the land must remain forested for the next 18 years.
Only after this time can the trees be felled and the land brought back into agricultural use.
South Teuchan is the latest unusual piece of land that Galbraith has attempted to sell in the north-east.
Last month, it began advertising New Aberdour beach to potential buyers for offers starting at £90,000.
It is believed it is the first time the sands have ever gone on sale.
Its owners have declined to comment on the future of the beach which includes a memorial to a local woman who helped save sailors during a capsize and St Drostan, the founder of the monastery of Old Deer.
And earlier this year, Galbraith sold 170 acres of Lunan Bay’s beach, near Arbroath, alongside a former salmon bothy.
