Two people have been treated for smoke inhalation after a fire in the early hours in Peterhead today.
Firefighters were called to a property in the town’s St Peter Street at 4.05am. Crews used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
A fire service spokeswoman said the stop call was put in at 4.20am.
She added: “There were two casualties suffering from smoke inhalation.
“They were dealt with by the ambulance service.”
