A busy north-east trunk road has reopened following a fatal accident this morning.
The A90 Aberdeen to Peterhead road was closed after a two car crash at around 6.50am.
One man, the 66-year-old driver of a blue Peuogeot 508, was killed and another man driving a black BMW X1 was flown to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
Police are now appealing for any witnesses to the crash or anyone with any information to contact them on 101.
