Two in hospital with life threatening injuries following north east horror crash

Two people remain in hospital with “potentially life threatening injuries” following a crash in the north east last night.

Five people were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary  hospital following the two car crash on Peterhead’s South Road shortly before 9pm last night.

A police spokesman today confirmed that all five remain in hospital and that two of the injured had “potentially life threatening injuries”.

Police, fire and ambulance teams were called to the scene of the crash where fire teams had to remove one person from one of the cars using cutting gear.

UPDATE: North-east road reopened after horror smash
