Police have been called to the accident near Turriff
Emergency services have been called after her car went off a north-east road and landed in a ditch.
Police and ambulance services were called to the scene of the incident involving a red Fiat estate off the B9001 Turriff to Rothienorman road at around 3.15pm.
An ambulance spokeswoman said they were still seeing to the woman on scene.
A police spokeswoman said: “There is a car in a ditch near Turriff, the female driver had ended up crashing her car into a ditch. The ambulance attended as well.”
The ambulance spokeswoman added: “We got the call at 3.30pm. It appears that we took one female to hospital with minor injuries.”
