Shetland MSP Tavish Scott has announced he is stepping down from politics.
The politician has been the island’s representative since the Scottish Parliament opened in 1999.
In a statement issued by the Scottish Lib Dems online, he said:
Shetland MSP @tavishscott is to leave the Scottish Parliament after 20 years of service.
