Theresa May briefs Queen on Brexit latest during visit to Balmoral

Theresa May left her Brexit woes behind her to share a weekend with the Queen in the peace and tranquility of Her Majesty’s Highland Castle, Balmoral.
The Prime Minister arrived on Friday with her husband to brief the Queen on the latest Brexit talks and negotiations.
And yesterday, the pair joined the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Rothesay to worship at Crathie Kirk.
The reading from St Matthew might have been considered appropriate for Mrs May in the current challenging climate.
It stated: “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there I am with them”.
The Queen arrived at church in a silvery grey hat and coat. Mrs May was dressed in black.
After the church service, the Prime Minister was driven the seven miles to Birkhall to have lunch with Prince Charles and the Duchess before heading off for Aberdeen Airport to return South.
It was the second time she and her husband have spent the weekend with the Queen.
