
A controlled explosion has been carried out after a suspicious package was found outside a Scottish police station.
Bomb squad officers were called to Main Street in Camelon, near Falkirk, after the package was discovered at around 8.40am.
Police sealed off the street while the controlled explosion was carried out.
The contents of the package were found to pose no risk to the public. Officers are investigating the circumstances and inquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “The contents of the package were subsequently found to pose no risk to the public.”
The street has since reopened.
