A video shared online which appears to show Leigh Griffiths kick a blue smoke bomb into a group of St Johnstone fans has gone viral, with fans calling for action.
The pyrotechnic had been thrown on to the field at Dens Park, with a video showing fans chanting abuse at Griffiths before he kicked the flare back to the crowd.
Griffiths, who is on loan to Dundee FC from Celtic, can be seen running up to it before kicking it into the away end in footage circulating online.

The striker was appearing for the team as they crashed out of the Premier Sports Cup, with St Johnstone securing a 2-0 victory on Wednesday night.
In the video, which has been shared hundreds of times on social media, fans can be heard chanting at Griffiths.
The SFA have been approached for comment but said they were unable to comment on potential disciplinary matters.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We are aware of an incident involving a small number of smoke devices at Dens Park, during the match between Dundee and St Johnstone Football Clubs on Wednesday September 22.
“There were no injuries and no complaints have been made to police at this stage.
“Inquiries into the matter are ongoing.”
Delighted St Johnstone boss Callum Davidson dedicated the win to his team’s away support.
Speaking after the match he said: “It’s one of those that we said we’d do it for the supporters.
“I thought they were brilliant tonight for us. They kept us going all the way through.
“It is really important to have them as last year they were not allowed to come. Five trips to Hampden. When you say it like that, it sounds pretty good.
“It’s just great to go back to Hampden really. It’s fantastic.
“It’s a great achievement by a club like St Johnstone to get there again.”
