VIDEO: As snow hits Scotland, Stirlingshire turns into winter wonderland

With snow covering large parts of Scotland today, a video has been released showing that Stirlingshire has been hit more than most and his been transformed into a picturesque winter wonderland.

The snow has resulted in road and school closures across the country, but has also produced some stunning pictures.

While the worst of the snow may have now landed, Met Office spokesman Jonathan Hunter has warned that there could still be more to come: “Tomorrow we may see wintry showers across the UK with sleet, snow and rain.

“There may be strong winds tomorrow but easing through the day. On Friday and towards the weekend it will be really cold and we may see some snow showers in the North and at high levels.”
