Two people have been seriously injured after being hit by a bus in Glasgow city centre.
The man and women were trapped under the double-decker bus, which hit them on the corner of Queen Street and Argyle Street.
Four fire crews and a specialist unit used airbags to free the pair, who have now been taken to hospital.
A section of Queen Street and Argyle Street have been closed while emergency services deal with the scene.
A fire spokesman said: “Scottish Fire and Rescue Service crews attended an incident in Queen Street in Glasgow city centre following a call from ambulance control around 2:35pm.
“The firefighters, who were working closely with paramedics and doctors, used airbags to release two people from beneath a bus.”
The pair were taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, but it is not yet clear how seriously injured they are.
A police spokeswoman said: “We received a report about 2.30pm that two people had been struck by a bus at the corner of Queen Street and Argyle Street in Glasgow. Emergency services are on the scene.
