School pupils are now being allowed to return home following a major incident in a Fife town.
This afternoon police were called to reports of an armed robbery at a bank in Fife, with unconfirmed reports that a man was claiming to have a bomb strapped to his body.
Officers went to the scene at Mitchelston Industrial Estate in Kirkcaldy this afternoon and were joined by experts from the bomb squad.
