Bryan Adams to perform in north-east

Bryan Adams has announced he will perform a one-off outdoor show in the north-east next year.

The Canadian multi-platinum recording artist, will perform outdoors at East Links, Montrose on Sunday  August 7 2016, as part of his Get Up Tour of the UK.

This is the Canadian rocker’s only outdoor show in Scotland which is being hosted by the Montrose Music Festival.

Bryan Adams said: “I’m delighted to be back on the road next year. It will give me an opportunity to perform tracks from my latest album, Get Up, as well as some of my earlier classics. It’s going to be a special show, performing outdoors in Montrose. I hope my Scottish fans are able to join me.”

Bryan Adams released his latest studio album Get Up in October to much acclaim. It was produced by famed ELO frontman Jeff Lynne and features nine new songs and four acoustic versions, highlighting Adams’ unique voice and depth.

The outdoor show at East Links, Montrose on Sunday 7 August 2016 is being organised in partnership between concert promoter, LCC Live and the Montrose Music Festival.

LCC Live’s Director, Les Kidger, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be bringing Bryan Adams to Montrose for his only Scottish outdoor show next year. We expect tickets to sell fast, which is testament to his reputation as one of the world’s most loved pop stars.”
