A Scots wildlife centre has shown off its latest recent arrival – a fluffy little owl chick.
The chick, which is an Indian Eagle Owl, was born at the beginning of January at the Scottish Owl Centre in West Lothian.
It is the first chick of its kind to be born in the centre with the aim of training it to eventually take part in bird displays.
It is being hand reared and trained, eating a diet of baby chickens.
