Footage has emerged showing a dramatic police chase as a black bear on the loose was chased through the streets of Los Angeles.
The bear was spotted near the Los Angeles Mission College campus in Sylmar and can then be seen running down streets and clambering over fences and through gardens.
The Department of Fish and Wildlife eventually caught up with the bear and the animal was tranquilisedand medically checked before being returned to Angeles National Forest unharmed.
