Over 200 independent record shops across the UK come together annually to celebrate the unique culture of analogue music with special vinyl releases made exclusively for the day. In 2018, sales of vinyl rose for the 11th consecutive year to 4.2 million units according to the British Phonographic Industry (BPI).
