Christmas is just around the corner and that means it’s time to feast!
Whether it’s a family get-together to exchange presents, a work Christmas do or you just want to get your turkey and all the trimmings without having to deal with the washing up after, these 12 restaurants are turning festive food into mouth-watering feasts.
Ashvale Restaurant
Join The Ashvale for some friendly festive food.
They start serving their popular Festive Fayre from Monday December 5, with two daily sittings at fromnoon to 2pm and between 5pm and 9pm.
Based in their main restaurant on Great Western Road, this menu will be served right through until Christmas Eve.
Starting from only £11.95 per person for a main course, the Ashvale caters for everyone, from office lunches to a family get-together. Diners can’t go wrong, thanks to the good selection of starters, mains and sweets.
They are also open on Christmas Day to take the stress out of cooking and join in the friendly atmosphere. There are still some seats available in the first sitting at noon.

Cock and Bull
The team at the Cock and Bull loves Christmas!
They get the log fire roaring, the Christmas tunes on and the trees decorated ready to welcome guests in.
They have a festive menu running the whole of December, alongside the regular menu, perfect for a corporate party or just a get-together with friends for a pre-Christmas feast.
The Cock and Bull is also also open on Christmas Day with great festive fayre to take the hassle out of cooking at home – although limited spaces available so diners will need to book fast!
There are also spaces left at the Hogmanay Hoolie – a great night of food, music and dancing to celebrate the New Year with loved ones in the cosy surroundings of the Cock and Bull.

Da Giorgio

Fife Arms Hotel
“The Perfect Venue to Meet, Greet and Eat” – The Fife Arms Hotel & Bistro serves the finest local game and seafood dishes all year round.
The hotel is now taking bookings for festive dining in December and early booking is advisable.
With dining options seven days a week within a modern contemporary restaurant customers can be sure of mouth-watering dishes, followed by a cocktail or relaxing dram by the fire.

The Grant Arms Hotel
Festive dining at The Grant Arms Hotel in Monymusk will be available from December 2 and a special menu has been created, offering two courses at £18.95 per person and three courses at £22.95 per person.
The hotel, an 18th century coaching inn, has been renovated and modernised to a very high standard, but managed to retain its traditional character.
Customers can choose to dine in the restaurant or the lounge bar. Both the festive and standard menus are based on local Scottish cuisine and a fine section of wines, whiskies and real ales are available in the lounge and public bar.

Musa
Musa offers not only festive dining during December but so much more, trading as a restaurant, art gallery and live music venue in the Merchant Quarter of Aberdeen.
Musa provides a haven from conformity and mundane where fresh contemporary food lives alongside cutting-edge art and live music against the canvas of a 19th century church.
Their 2016 Winter/Christmas Menu will be served right through the Festive period and the venue is also available for private events such as Christmas Party Nights, business or office parties including wine, whisky and gin events.

The Ship Inn
Enjoying fabulous views of picturesque Stonehaven Harbour, dining at The Captains Table Restaurant allows customers to relax in pleasant surroundings and enjoy the best of local sourced produce.
The Ship Inn 2016 festive menu is available from December 5 through to Christmas Eve, offering three courses plus coffee/tea and mints for only £22.50 per person. A senior citizen version will also available for £14.95.
The Ship Inn has recently launched its new winter menu, offering a wide variety of dishes to suit all tastes including local seafood dishes and some favourite winter warmers such as lamb shank, and steak pie.
The Ship Inn offers dining in both The Captains Table restaurant and within the warm and friendly lounge bar.

The Atholl Hotel
Festive dining at the Atholl is available from Thursday, December 1, where customers can choose to dine in the restaurant, bar or lounge.
A private dining room is also available for family gatherings, office Christmas lunches and other large groups.
The festive menu will be available up to December 24, and offers two courses plus coffee for £22 and three courses plus coffee for £28.
The Atholl takes great pride in using fresh local produce where possible in all their menus which are traditional and varied and change seasonally. The chefs are happy to assist with any dietary requirements and preferences.

Tornacoille Hotel
The Tornacoille Hotel has a fantastic programme of events lined up for Christmas and New Year – there are party nights throughout December with limited spaces remaining on Friday 9, Saturday 10 and Friday 16, offering a three course dinner, glass of Prosecco on arrival and disco after dinner, with an added option to stay overnight for a special rate.
Festive dining options include a two course (£22.95) and three course (£27.95) festive menu, which is available for lunch or dinner. Or if diners prefer a lighter option there is a festive afternoon tea available seven days a week for £15.95.
Hogmanay 2night stay for 2 package is available for arrival 31st December and includes Afternoon Tea on arrival, Black Tie Gala Dinner on Hogmanay to see in the New Year, 2 night accommodation including breakfast as well as a New Year Day Carvery served in the restaurant.
