Aberdeen goalkeeper Joe Lewis has signed a contract extension that will keep him at Pittodrie until 2020.
The Dons stopper was the only member of Derek McInnes’ side to play every single minute of the club’s 53 matches last season.
Lewis kept 21 clean sheets and conceded only 47 times during an excellent campaign that saw him included in the SPFL’s team of the season.
Lewis joined the Dons in June 2016 on a two year deal after leaving Cardiff.
He said: “I’m thoroughly enjoying my time here and it was an easy decision to make to stay longer.
“My family love it here and have settled in really well and from my perspective, I want to win trophies here after coming so close last season.
“The opportunity to play in Europe regularly is another bonus and one that cannot be underestimated.”
