Ross County sign defender Jamie Reckord

Jim McIntyre has made defender Jamie Reckord his fourth signing at Ross County.
Jim McIntyre has made defender Jamie Reckord his fourth signing at Ross County.

Ross County have signed former Wolves left back Jamie Reckord on a short-term deal.

The 22 year-old has been training with the Staggies since their last game against Caley Thistle earlier in the month, having been released by the Championship side last month.

In his time with the West Midlands club, Reckord spent loan spells with Northampton Town, Scunthorpe United, Coventry City, Plymouth Argyle and Swindon Town, and was also capped for England’s U17 side.

Reckord completes a hat-trick of signings in the past seven days, following last week’s adddition of midfielders Martin Woods and Terry Dunfield.

However County are still awaiting international clearance for the trio before any of them can feature in Saturday’s Premiership game against Celtic.

Meanwhile, McIntyre is also considering making a move for former Motherwell right back Paul Quinn, who is currently on trial with the Dingwall club.
