Ross County have re-signed midfielder Jackson Irvine on a permanent two-year contract from Celtic, for a small development fee.
The Australian made a strong impression at Victoria Park last season after signing on loan from the Hoops, making 30 appearances to help the Staggies clinch Premiership safety with a superb run of 10 wins from their last 14 games.
Despite reported interest from Motherwell and Hibernian, the 22-year-old has now opted to join the Dingwall outfit permanently, becoming manager Jim McIntyre’s 12th signing of the summer.
