Aberdeen have rejected a second bid from Championship side Cardiff City for star man Jonny Hayes.
It comes just three days after the Dons rejected a £500,000 bid from the Bluebirds for the Irish winger.
Pittodrie boss Derek McInnes has confirmed the latest offer was simply a restructuring of the original bid, with more money being paid up front.
Aberdeen’s valuation of Hayes is believed to be somewhere between £1-1.5million.
Hayes still has 18 months to run on his contract at Pittodrie and the Dons are said to be desperate to hold onto the 29-year-old.
