Dons star Niall McGinn linked with move to League One side

Aberdeen star Niall McGinn has been linked with a move to a League One side.

McGinn will be free to leave Pittodrie on a free transfer in the summer and Oxford United are reportedly keen to land his signature.

The Northern Ireland international has spent five years in the north-east but his current deal is set to expire at the end of the season.

Oxford signed Dundee’s Kane Hemmings and Motherwell winger Marvin Johnson earlier this season and are said to be keen on securign another SPFL star.

Hearts have also shown an interest in signing the player, who is said to still be considering his options.
