WATCH: McInnes praises fans for their support in ‘bitter conditions’

Derek McInnes wants another second place finish

Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes has praised Dons supporters who turned out to watch their team’s victory over Partick Thistle despite the wintry weather.

Around 15,000 supporters descended on Pittodrie last night and watched the Dons beat the Jags thanks to Adam Rooney’s goal. Speaking to Red TV McInnes said: “Conditions played a huge part tonight. It was really cold out there and credit to all the supporters who turned up. They came here in bitter conditions and managed to see our team win.”
