North Macedonian international Bojan Miovski is the latest arrival on a busy week at Pittodrie.

The striker, who turns 23 on Friday, scored 19 goals in 60 appearances for MTK Budapest.

He has joined the Dons on a four-year deal and becomes Aberdeen’s fifth summer signing – after the clubs agreed a deal understood to be worth €625,000 (£536,000).

The Dons fought off stiff competition from Hungarian side Fehervar to land Miovski.

Fehervar head coach, German Michael Boris, had previously worked with Miovski at MTK and was desperate to be reunited with the player.

MTK are also understood to have turned down a €2 million bid for Miovski from Spanish side Grenada during the January transfer window.

Defender Jayden Richardson arrived on a three-year deal for a £300,000 fee from Nottingham Forest, while Aberdeen’s first summer signing Ylber Ramadani was a £100,000 signing from MTK Budapest.

Liam Scales has also joined on a season-long deal from Celtic, although the Dons have a long-term aim of making that a permanent transfer.

Wycombe Wanderers centre-half Anthony Stewart has signed a pre-contract agreement and will head north on a two-year deal once his deal at the English side ends later this month.

The Dons also remain keen to bring another striker to Pittodrie, although Sparta Rotterdam lead the race for Norwegian striker Tobias Lauritsen.

The Dutch club have had a bid for the forward accepted by Odds, according to reports in Norway.

Aberdeen have also been heavily linked with Wigan Athletic midfielder Jamie McGrath, who is also a target for Dundee United, and Wolves midfielder Connor Ronan.

Boss Jim Goodwin worked with both players during his time at St Mirren.
