Lawrence Shankland has been in inspired form for the Dons development team this season and last week replicated that form at international level with a double for the Scotland under-21s.

Derek McInnes has today opted to reward Shankland with a start against Partick Thistle this afternoon.

The decision to start Shankland has certainly proven popular on social media but what do you think, does Shankland deserve his starting place?
