Kairat coach Vladimir Weiss is confident his players will be relaxed, refreshed and ready for their Europa League encounter against Aberdeen on Thursday in Almaty.
The Slovak manager fielded just three players from the team which faced Armenian side Alashkert in the second qualifying round for their Kazakhstan Premier League match at Tobol on Sunday, and was rewarded with a 3-1 win.
The regulars – including former Ukraine international midfielder and captain Anatoliy Tymoshchuk – will return for the game against the Dons on Thursday.
Weiss said: “We played eight new players in the starting line-up compared to the last match and I was pleased with some, but not all of them.
“But there will be changes again for when we play Aberdeen.
“Ermek Kuantayev was very tired. Kuantayev and Stanislav Lunin have played almost the full 90 minutes of all our matches so they were left behind with Anatoliy Tymoshchuk and Bauyrzhan Islamkhan.
“It was almost a second team we fielded but it was important to rest some players.
“Everyone will be back for what is a very important game against Aberdeen.”
