Former Elgin City player Rabin Omar has joined Greenock Morton, the Cappielow outfit have announced.
Morton revealed Omar has taken the step up to full-time Championship football after finishing his chemistry studies.
Omar, 23, was Elgin’s third top scorer last term behind Shane Sutherland and Kane Hester, with five goals in 29 appearances, as well as two red cards.
It was confirmed he was to leave the League Two side last week.
The former Annan forward also played 33 times for the Borough Briggs side in the 2018/19 campaign.
