Well, here we are, a good couple of months short of the transfer window opening but there are plenty of juicy transfer tales doing the rounds today.

Javier Hernandez was Real Madrid’s match winner last night but it looks like he will be on the move again this summer, meanwhile Chelsea were dealt a double blow today and former Celtic midfielder Victor Wanyama looks like he could be on the move again this summer.

PSV have confirmed that Manchester United have made an approach for the golden boy of Dutch foootball, Memphis Depay, however, the Daily Mail are reporting that Liverpool are also chasing the signature of the 21-year-old.

PSV’s technical director Marcel Brands told Dutch television: “We have had a telephone call from them [United] about him.”

However, the Mail is reporting that Liverpool believe they can lure the player to Anfield with the guarantee of first team football.

Tom Cleverley

Sky are reporting that Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley, currently on loan at Aston Villa, has plenty of options this summer and could even end up at United’s title rivals Arsenal.

Sky sources are telling us that both Arsenal and Tottenham are interested in signing the midfielder on a free contract this summer, Everton and West Ham are also said to be interested, while Sky believe the 25-year-old also has offers from clubs in Italy and Spain and Schalke in Germany.

Oh and his current loan club, Aston Villa, also fancy keeping him permanently.

According to the Express, Bayern Munich are looking to add Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic to their squad this summer.

The Serbian defender, who joined the club in 2008 has only one year left on his current deal and is also believed to be subject of interest from Paris Saint-Germain.

The Sun has Victor Wanyama could make a return to the Champions League next season – with Arsenal.

The powerful midfielder left the east end of Glasgow for Southampton last summer for £12million, however, he may be on the move again this summer, with Arsenal considering a £20million bid.

Brandon Mechele

Celtic look like they could be a little light in the central defender department next season but it appears Ronny Deila is wise to this issue.

The Hoops could lose both Virgil van Dijk and Jason Denayer this summer but they have reportedly made a move for Belgian under-21 defender Brandon Mechele.

The Club Brugge defender has impressed this season and it is believed the Belgian league leaders value him around the £3 million mark.

Paulo Dybala

Chelsea could have been dealt in blow in their summer transfer plans with the news that Palermo striker Paulo Dybala fancies staying in Italy.

The 21-year-old has scored 13 goals so far this season and his agent claimed that Chelsea had made a £29million bid for his services, however, in an an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport, the striker hinted he would prefer a move to Juventus.

He told the Italian paper: “I love Italy. This is the country that made me famous and I would love to stay in Serie A.

“There are some big teams out there who don’t play in Champions League and I can’t deny that I’d love to play in Europe’s most prestigious competition.

“It’s a lot easier for a striker when you have a playmaker like Pirlo behind you. He makes even the most difficult things look easy. His genius was plain to see against Monaco in the Champions League.”

The Mirror believe that the form man in the Premier League – Yannick Bolasie – could be set to swap London for Merseyside by joining Liverpool from Crystal Palace.

Reports suggest that Liverpool’s misfit striker Rickie Lambert could move in the opposite direction as part of the deal, with Palace valuing their winger at nearly £20million.

Javier Hernandez was Real Madrid’s hero last night but Spanish football guru Guillem Balague believes he will be back in the English Premier League next season.

The forward is currently on loan from Manchester United but Balague believes he will be on the move to another English club this summer.

Balague told Sky Sports News: “If Real Madrid want him there is a 10m euros buyout clause.

“But they are not going to keep him. There are several big English clubs that want him, but I don’t think Manchester United want to keep him. He will move on to one of those other English clubs.”
