2013 winners Keith entertain Forres Mechanics, who won the silverware three years earlier, in the Highland League Cup on Saturday.
Former Deveronvale and Forres favourite, Keith centre forward Kris Duncan is expecting a stern challenge and said: “We beat Forres 3-2 in the league at Kynoch Park earlier in the season, it was a very close game that day and I am expecting the same this time around.
“I still have a lot of really good friends at Mosset Park and it’s always good to catch up with them. The messages have been flying around this week.”
Duncan is delighted with Keith’s scoring form this term, and added: “We have been finding the back of the next fairly regularly this season and on our day we really are a very good attacking side. We have a lot of pace and directness so opposing defences do find it hard to contain us. The signing of Cammy Keith from Formartine has definitely strengthened us.
“Although it will be another close game I would like to think with home advantage we will just have enough to edge out Forres.”
