Campbell, who has taken over from Rod Houston in the vital role, explains his background in the game, excitement for the role – which recently included making up his first set of Highland League fixtures – and how he thinks the Scottish football pyramid will affect the division going forward.

As well the interview with John Campbell, this Monday’s episode also features a chat with former Inverurie gaffer – and multiple championship winner with Buckie Thistle – Andy Low, who gives his view on the new campaign’s various storylines.
At points throughout the campaign, we will again be producing Highland League Weekly EXTRA highlights shows from midweek matches, which will be released on Thursday nights.
