Caley Thistle defender Graeme Shinnie says

“They (Caley Thistle v Aberdeen matches) are great games.

“They’re always matches that seem to be won by one goal here or there.

“We need to make sure we pick our performances up, and we’re the team that comes away with a goal extra.

“We’ve had a few good results, especially down at Pittodrie.

“And up here we’ve beaten them a few times as well.

“We definitely know what we’ve got to do, and we know what to expect from an Aberdeen team.”

Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes says

“They are up there as they are a good side and if we finish above them we will have had a good season.

“Any time we have faced Inverness it has always been a tough game for us.”

“They have a lot going for them. They have pace, talented players, a goalscorer in Billy Mckay and real experience.

“I look at the players on their bench every week and it is a really experienced squad which is why every game against them has been nothing but tough.

“We played them at Pittodrie earlier in the season and at 2-2 it could have gone either way, but thankfully we got the winning goal.

“I’m sure Sunday will be no different and they will be expecting as tough a game as we are.”
