Caley Thistle have completed the signing of midfielder Iain Vigurs, who has returned to the club on a one-year contract.
Vigurs goes straight into contention for tonight’s Premiership match at home to Partick Thistle.
The 27-year-old was a free agent after leaving Motherwell at the end of last season, but has not played since December due to a back injury.
Vigurs played two games as a trialist for Highland League side Inverurie Locos earlier this season in an attempt to maintain his fitness.
The Aberdonian began his career with Elgin City before joining Caley Jags in 2006, leaving three years later to join Highland rivals Ross County.
Vigurs was snapped up by Motherwell in 2013, however he was restricted to just 15 appearances last season due to his injury.
