Jim McIntyre is set to take charge of Ross County for the first time tomorrow as his team face Motherwell at Victoria Park.
The Staggies have got off to a disappointing start to the season, and currently lie rooted to the bottom of the league, yet to collect a point.
Former Queen of the South boss, McIntyre, was appointed County manager on Tuesday and despite the poor start to the season he believes he can help to turn around the club’s fortunes.
He said: “We’re only five games in and sometimes when you don’t start the season well confidence can take a massive dip and it is important that we give the players that courage and spirit to go out and express themselves and play without fear.”

County could hand debuts to three new players. Michael Gardyne, Darren Barr and Jackson Irvine were all added to the squad on deadline day and all three could feature against Motherwell.

The international break gave Zaine Francis-Angol, Simon Ramsden, Iain Vigurs and Steven Hammell the chance to get up to full fitness and Stuart McCall is expected to have a full squad to choose from.
