Liam Cooper is expected to miss the rest of the Scotland’s Euro 2020 qualifiers after being ruled out with a groin injury.
The Leeds United captain picked up the knock in his side’s 1-0 win over West Brom on Tuesday.
A statement from Leeds said: “Cooper has picked up a groin injury, which will keep the Whites skipper out for up to six weeks.”
The 28-year-old defender’s injury is the latest setback for Scotland boss Steve Clarke.
He is already without defenders Kieran Tierney, Scott McKenna, John Souttar and Craig Halkett.
